Roman Reigns kicked off 2015 by getting booed out of Philadelphia. The scene was the Royal Rumble, and it was the ultimate example of an empowered (read: entitled) die-hard fanbase rearing its ugly head.

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has had his demons for years. Years ago, he was known as Razor Ramon. This man was potentially the best man, at the time, to never have a World Title to his name. The reason most felt he never achieved this honor in a major company was due to the fact that he had substance abuse issues. No one could trust Hall, which led to several problems over the years.

On the Stone Cold Podcast last week, Stone Cold Steve Austin had the illustrious Paul Heyman on. While the two reminisced about their past, it truly seemed like Austin and Heyman were enjoying themselves on the WWE Network. It’s also easy to say that both men are two of the greatest WWE personalities in history.

Anything can happen in the WWE. For example, a mid-card worker can become the WWE’s hottest commodity. That was CM Punk in 2011. A bodybuilder turns into the WWE’s most polarizing figure. That man turned out to be John Cena. A dancing Irish woman whose act was as silly as her clothes became Becky Lynch.

WWE has always tried to separate themselves from other pro-wrestling companies in the past. They feel that they are the ultimate when it comes to promotion. In some aspects, this is true. They are number one and the most well-known company. When an average person thinks about wrestling, they think about WWE or WWF — depending on who you talk with. However, there are several companies out there. All of them are relatively good with at least a few people who are worth watching.

We knew that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would make an explosive return to WWE when he his podcast came back to the WWE Network tonight, but what happened tonight will get everyone talking. Austin had Paul Heyman as his guest on the Stone Cold Podcast this past Monday night. They swapped great stories the entire show. The two have a storied history together, so it makes total sense that they would have a ton of great stuff to tell.

WWE NXT star Kevin Owens has made quite an impact in his small tenure with WWE. He officially started with the WWE in late 2014 and made a huge impact at the beginning of this year, taking the WWE NXT Championship and defending it several times. A couple of weeks back, Kevin Owens made himself known when he took out WWE mainstay John Cena. That led to the two having a “champion vs. champion” match at this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber.

Following a Payback pay-per-view that was somewhat short on matches that actually matter, Elimination Chamber has all the ingredients to be one of the year's best events.

Due to the amount of weekly content that is produced, WWE has a hard time keeping their performers fresh. In the past, guys like John Cena have suffered from overexposure, as the fans get tired of seeing the same old thing every single week, and because of that, their are very few true superstars in WWE.

Former TNA star Samoa Joe signed with WWE recently. He made his debut with the company last week at WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. His debut brought a ton of cheers into the Full Sail Live Arena, but social media also exploded with people talking up Samoa Joe. Joe’s debut did more for NXT than most realized it would, and WWE was really happy to see that.

With a litany of former TNA mainstays already under their roof, the WWE is reportedly interested in current IWGP and former TNA World Heavyweight champion AJ Styles after changing their stance on him, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via LordsofPain).

WWE Superstar Rusev may be gone for a while. The Bulgarian Brute recently went back to his Bulgarian roots after his public break up with WWE Diva and manager Lana who has Russian ties. It is said that Lana will eventually drift away from her Russian gimmick, but this might take time. For now the idea was to keep the two in a storyline that would ultimately lead to the both of them going different directions.
