Booker T is one of the most decorated commentators in WWE and sometimes, much like JBL, he says some offensive things in the heat of the moment.
It seems Monday night was one of those nights, and the former King of the Ring winner has been forced to apologize.
The Hall of Famer was calling the match between newcomer Neville and Luke Harper in the opening round of the King of the Ring Tournament, when he and JBL began a conversation about Neville's high flying antics and his ability to "defy gravity."
JBL commented that Neville could become the first ever high flying King of the Ring winner because Owen Hart was a high flyer, but not like Neville. Booker then responded that Owen Hart "didn't defy gravity."
This was thought to have just been an innocent comment made by the former World Champion, but given the way that Owen died, and even though it was 16 years ago, the wounds still feel fresh and Booker was given a lot of heat on social media because of this comment.
